Sure, everyone has heard of Comic-Con, but have you heard of the more intimate version for small press and independent artists? APE, (Alternative Press Expo) is put on by the same people that bring us San Diego Comic-Con each year and if you love discovering new and original art and self published comics, it can be just as exciting as Comic-Con.
